For over 23 years, Research Support Services has provided sediment sampling, instrument deployment, habitat survey and research diving services to environmental consultants and engineering firms.

RSS now announces the sale of its vessel and equipment assets to Gravity Marine (www.gravitymarine.com). This transaction supports a transition toward retirement for owner Eric Parker and ensures these vessels, survey platforms, and specialized marine assets will continue to support high-quality marine survey and field operations under new ownership.

The sale includes three vessels and associated technical equipment used to support hydrographic survey, sediment investigation, habitat assessment, and marine construction support services. RSS is confident Gravity Marine will continue operating these assets with a strong commitment to safety, technical excellence, and client service.
​
While RSS has divested its vessel and equipment assets and will be shutting its doors, Eric Parker will be available to provide technical expertise and advisory support where his experience and project knowledge add value.
